RookiGuru

For Organizations

Bring practical AI and digital skills to the young people you already serve

RookiGuru works with schools, NGOs, foundations and community groups to deliver free training in AI, accounting and digital skills — in more than one language.

We are not asking you for funding. Everything RookiGuru offers is free to your organization and to your learners.

What you get

What working with us looks like

No cost, no minimum group size, and no long commitment. We work around what your organization already does.

Free courses

Every course in the Learning Hub is free for your learners. Our most developed pathway is the AI Accounting Suite — four courses in order, from foundations to automation.

More than one language

Courses in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Punjabi. Which languages a course offers varies — the Learning Hub shows each one.

Built for basic phones

Designed to work on the devices your learners already own, without a computer lab or fast connection.

No cost, no minimum

There is no fee, no minimum number of learners, and no commitment we ask you to sign.

How it works

From first conversation to learners enrolled

We shape this around your organization rather than the other way round.

  1. We talk

Tell us who your learners are, what they already know, and what you're hoping they'll be able to do. There's no minimum group size and nothing to commit to at this stage.

  2. We put together a curriculum outline

A suggested route through our courses that fits your group — which subjects, in what order, and in which languages.

  3. We run sessions and train your facilitators

We deliver live sessions with your learners, and work with your staff or volunteers so they can support and continue the programme themselves.

  4. Learners carry on at their own pace

Courses stay free and available afterwards, so learners can keep going in their own time.

Programmes we've run

Vibha · June 2026

Agentic AI programme — four sessions over one month. We ran a four-part live series on agentic AI with Vibha, working through what AI agents are, how they differ from generative AI, and how automated workflows are actually built. Sessions were delivered live with screen-shared demonstrations rather than slides alone.

Faculty & teacher training

We also work directly with teachers and faculty, so the people who already know your learners can carry the material forward. That means walking staff through the tools themselves, the course pathway their group will follow, and how to support learners between sessions.

Alamb · 2024

A small early pilot, supported by Alamb staff and two volunteers in Bangalore. Thirty-five learners were assessed, twenty-two met the standard, and certificates were issued on 15 May 2024.

This was a modest pilot rather than a large programme, and we're sharing the actual numbers rather than rounding them up.

Learners under 18

How enrolment works for under-18s

Our courses are hosted on Udemy. Udemy requires anyone under 18 to have a parent or guardian open the account and manage enrolments. RookiGuru does not create or manage learner accounts.

This matters if your learners are 16 or 17, because they cannot sign up for themselves. In practice, organizations usually handle it in one of two ways.

  • Work with parents or guardians so they set up the account and give permission for their child to take part.

  • Run sessions in a supervised group setting, with your own staff present and the account arrangements handled under your organization's existing safeguarding policy.

Whichever route you choose, the account and the consent sit with your organization, the parent or the guardian — not with RookiGuru. We don't collect personal information from under-18s. Read our safeguarding and data protection position.

Safeguarding & data

Where we stand on learner data

If you're responsible for young people, you'll want to know what happens to their information before you introduce anything new. Here is our position in short.

  • We don't collect personal information from under-18s.
  • We don't create or manage learner accounts.
  • We don't ask for identity documents, addresses or financial details.
  • Learner accounts sit with Udemy under their own terms.

Start a conversation

Tell us about the learners you serve

Share a little about your organization, your learners and the skills you're looking to support. We'll come back with the RookiGuru learning options that fit.

It helps if you can tell us:

  • Who your learners are, and roughly how many
  • Which skills they're looking to build
  • Which languages would be most useful

There's nothing to commit to, and nothing to pay.

General questions are usually answered in our FAQ. You can also see who runs RookiGuru.
